What is the Bolt Hole Pattern for Mounting the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13018
Question:
The bolt hole pattern for attaching this hitch, are they the same as on a pintle hitch?

Expert Reply:
The bolt hole pattern center on center for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13018 is 3-1/4 inches horizontally and 2-1/4 inch vertically. This varies from the 3-3/8 inch horizontal and 1-3/4 inch vertical measurements that a typical Pintle Hitch, like part # C48231, has. This Curt trailer hitch receiver fits the following vehicles:
1998 - 2002 Mercedes-Benz M-Class ML320
2003 - 2005 Mercedes-Benz M-Class ML350
1999 - 2001 Mercedes-Benz M-Class ML430
2002 - 2005 Mercedes-Benz M-Class ML500
You will also want to note that for any non-trailer loads like a bike rack or cargo carrier must be secured by a Support Strap # 18050 to keep in accordance with the Curt warranty.
