This hitch is designed to specifically work on your vehicle, and would allow you to keep your spare tire. I attached installation instructions for this product below for you to check out also.

Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver by Draw-Tite, part # 41938, that you referenced is designed for trucks that are cab and chassis models without truck beds. Since your truck has an 8 foot bed, this would not work for you.
