7 Way Trailer Wiring Recommendation for 2015 Ford Expedition

Do the expedition have the plug for the 7 way under the truck. I have a 4 way beside muy hitch? I need a 7 way.

If you trace the 4-way harness back does it end with a round connector like the part # C55515? If so, then what you can do is replace that assembly with the # HM40975 and you'll have a 7 and 4-way. Or you can look to see if you can find that round connector tucked up somewhere behind the bumper area. It SHOULD be there but if not we can still help.

Now if your trailer does not have brakes all you would need is the part # 37185 as an adapter to convert the 4-way to a 7-way.

If you do have trailer brakes you would need the # ETBC7 instead of the # 37185 and a brake controller. This kit comes with everything needed to wire up the 7-way and install a brake controller.

For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
