Recommended Suspension Enhancement For 2005 Chevy Suburban 2500
Question:
I have a 31ft travel trailer with a tongue weight of about 1300lbs. I have noticed with 2 different vehicles over the years, from a RAM 2500 diesel to a Suburban 8.1 2500, my tires get cupped from a long trip, 5,000 miles. This is an expensive fix getting new tires every year from a once a year road trip. My tire dealer finally told me its because of the camber changing in the front end alignment, from the front lifting up when tongue weight is engaged. My question is will the Timbren suspension system prevent the camber changing that causes the tires cupping. I have been exploring the Firestone air ride system as well but I dont know if Im over doing it with that application or if the Timbren will be sufficient enough?2005 Chevy Suburban 2500 4wh sag

For your 2005 Chevy Suburban 2500 4x4, I recommend the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TGMRSB4S. This will stabilize your vehicle to significantly reduce that sag by using the Aeon Rubber that becomes more rigid as more weight is added. These springs are extremely well suited for towing, they just don't have the adjustability of the air springs, which you may not even desire.
This will work just as well as the air springs, but the air springs have a little smoother ride. If you desire the leveling as well as a smoother ride, then I recommend the Air Lift Ride Control Helper Springs # AL59526. These have manual inflation valves or can be used with a compressor like # F2158 which is far more convenient and allows adjustment from the driver's seat. This will help with vehicle tire wear from being so drastic. Your photo shows a weight distribution system. I recommend readjusting this system once you add the suspension enhancement for them to work together for you to have a level transport of your trailer and tow vehicle.
