What is the Difference Between the MaxxAir and Camco RV Vent Covers

Question:

Good morning, Can you advise what the differences are between the MaxAir and Camco roof vent covers? I need to purchase several and found the MaxAir at a local shop for a lot of $$. Searching your site I found the Camco, but would like to know which is the better of the two. Thank you.

Both the MaxxAir Standard RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover part # MA00-933066 and the Camco RV and Enclosed Trailer Roof Vent Cover w/ Detachable Louvered Screen part # CAM40431 are designed to fit 14" x 14" roof vents. The overall dimensions of the MaxxAir is 19" long x 18-1/2" wide x 9-1/2" tall and the overall dimension of the Camco RV is 18-1/2" long x 18" wide x 9-1/2" tall.

Both of these roof vent covers come with mounting hardware and have a removable louvered vent for easy cleaning. The main difference between the two roof vents is the warranty associated with their product. The MaxxAir vent has a 6 year warranty whereas the Camco RV vent only has a 1 year warranty.

Each roof vent is available in the following colors:

MaxxAir:
part # MA00-933066 - White
part # MA00-933069 - Black
part # MA00-933067 - Smoke

Camco RV:
part # CAM40431 - White
part # CAM40443 - Black
part # CAM40453 - Smoke
part # CAM40463 - Champagne
part # CAM40473 - Silver
