For your 2007 Honda Fit Sport, I recommend the Draw-Tite Class I Sport Frame Receiver Hitch # 24776. This Class I hitch is confirmed to fit your vehicle and will provide a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening and a tongue weight capacity of 200 pounds. I recommend this over the Curt model also confirmed to fit your vehicle because unlike Curt, Draw-Tite does not require the use of stabilizing straps like # 18050 with non-trailer loads such as bike racks and cargo carriers.
I have attached the installation details for you to check out.
If you are looking to use the trailer hitch to transport bikes, I recommend looking at the Swagman XTC-2 Platform Rack # S64670. This is a great platform-style carrier that can hold up to 2 bikes at 35 pounds each. It features a shank with a rise to provide increased ground clearance and the upright arm can fold down for easy storage when not in use. I just recommend adding locks with # S64031 to secure everything into place and to help deter theft.
I have attached a video demonstration on this particular rack for you to check out. I have also included a link that will take you to our available selection of bike racks that are compatible with Class I trailer hitches. You will need to make sure that the rack you choose is compatible with Class I hitches while also keeping in mind that the most bikes a Class I hitch can support is 2.
