Is the Curt X5 Gooseneck Adapter Compatible With the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitches
Question:
Will the Curt X5 item#C16210 work with a BandW flip over gooseneck ball. I am not sure of the model number on my gooseneck hitch, but it is the kind that you twist to get out and flip over and then twist to put the ball back in.

The Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter # C16210 is meant to work hand-in-hand with the Curt Double Lock Gooseneck Trailer Hitches. For an adapter that is compatible with the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitches, like part # BWGNRK1012-5W, you would need the Demco # DM6140 which is meant to be used with the B&W Gooseneck Hitches.
This adapter will give you base rails that are compatible with 5th wheel hitches that fit in standard base rails. The Demco Hijacker Premier Series Double Pivot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM6076P-21K would be an excellent option to go with this adapter as long as you have an 8 foot bed.
For a bed that is under 8 foot but no less than 6 foot I recommend the autosliding version of the Hijacker # DM8550037. This option will allow you to make those tight turns in your truck without having to get in and out of the cab to disengage and re-engage the sliding feature.
Anything under 6 feet will require the use of a Sidewinder on the pin box of your trailer.
If you let me know what your setup is I would be happy to make some specific recommendations for you.
