Will the Foam Padding on the Bumper of the 2016 Subaru Outback Need to be Removed for the EcoHitch
Question:
Did I hear correct? In the video it was stated to discard the foam padding . Does it not fit once the hitch is mounted under the bar? Thanx

The foam padding on the bumper will have to be removed when installing the EcoHitch, # 306-X7601, on your 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon.
Adding the hitch with the bumper will bring the bumper out a little closer to the fascia. Leaving the foam padding on will not allow the fascia to be reinstalled.
