On the 2011 Ford F-250 Super Duty, the brake controller port is located behind the center dashboard access panel on the passenger's side. One end of the # 3034-P adapter will plug into the back of the brake controller and the other end plugs into the brake controller port on your vehicle.
If your vehicle has the factory 7-Way connector on the rear of your vehicle, then all of the wires for the brake controller have already been run.
If you have a factory 4-Way connector on your vehicle you will need to add the Hopkins 4 Pole to 7 Pole Adapter, part # 37185, on your vehicle to get a 7-Way at the rear. The factory 4-Way on your vehicle will plug into the back of this adapter and the remaining four wires will need to be connected.
The four remaining wires will need to be hard wired to the corresponding circuits on the vehicle. The white (ground) wire will need to be attached to the vehicle frame, the black (12 volt power) wire is connected to the vehicles battery with 10 gauge wire like the # 10-1-1, through a 40-amp circuit breaker # 9510, the blue (trailer brake) wire will be connected to the blue trailer brake feed wire on the brake controller, and the purple (auxiliary) wire is for reverse lights if you need that circuit. If any of these connections are not needed, just wire tie them up out of the way for future use.
I am including a video link of a brake controller being installed on a Ford F-250 Super Duty and it will show you where the brake controller port is located.
