Upgrading Pro Series 16,000 lb 5th Wheel Hitch To 20,000 lb Capacity
Question:
I have a Pro Series 16K fifth wheel hitch....I am in the process of trading campers and will be going over 16000 rated weight ...can I convert my hitch to a 20K and if so what parts will I need.....do these two hitches use the same rails, legs, etc.

Your Pro Series 16K 5th wheel hitch can convert to the 20,000 lb capacity using the Replacement Double Pivot 20K Head and Head Support # 30118.
If you want to consider the entirely new hitch, you will want to compare to Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # RP30928 which isn't a huge price difference.
