Can Replacement 2" Shank be Used on Hollywood Racks Road Runner 1-1/4"
Question:
I bought a 1 1/4 inch hitch mount bike rack and the end of the hitch that goes in the receiver was broken. I have a 2inch mount so bought a conversion mount and tried to use it but the broken part was a problem with its integrity. Can I use a 2inch HRRTD2 in a model HR410 1 1/4inch Road Runner Deluxe hitch Rack? Will it fit the shaft??? thanks

Yes, you can use the Replacement 2" Shank Assembly for Hollywood Racks Road Runner and Traveler Bike Racks # HRRTD2 to convert your Hollywood Racks Road Runner 4 Bike Carrier for 1-1/4" Hitches # HR410 so that it can be used with a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver on your vehicle.

I recently purchased a sport rider SE2 bike rack for a 1 1/4" receiver. The rack really wobbles around because it doesn't have the shank assembly with the lever to tighten the rack to the hitch to prevent this. Is there a remedy or a part that is available to alleviate this? The one that is available for purchase is for holo shank and not a solid one like the one I have.
