Will Derale Oil Cooler Work On 2014 Ram 1500 With Remote Oil Cooler
Question:
I have a 2014 ram 1500 5.7 Hemi. I have a remote oil filter on it that uses the old full size ford filter PH8a, will this adapt to the bottom of my remote filet mount. I need to loose about 20 degrees of engine oil heat when its hot out side.

In my research I found that the threads on the old filter you said you use has 3/4-16 threads.
The Derale Stacked-Plate Engine Oil Cooler Kit # D15602 has a threaded sleeve with those thread dimensions. You would use the sleeve that has he yellow label attached to it. This is a Class lll oil cooler that can lower your oil temperature by as much as 50 degrees so it will work great for your 2014 Ram 1500.
