Ball Mount Rise Recommendation for Towing K2 Mighty Mule Trailer with 2017 Toyota Rav4
Question:
2017 RAV4 Hybrid XLE Plan on buying your 2inch etrailer Hitch for this vehicle and the Detail K2 Mighty Mule trailer. My question is: What is appropriate for ball mount with that combination such that the trailer is fairly level. Which ball mount set would you recommend?

So the coupler height of the K2 Mule trailer part # K2MMT5X7 is 16 inches from the ground and then the etrailer hitch part # e98864 has a height of 13 inches from the ground to the top of the hitch opening.
That means you would need a rise ball mount of 3 inches for the trailer to sit level. The part # AMSC4 has a rise of 2-3/4 inches so it will be close enough to work very well. For a 2 inch ball like what the k2 trailer requires you would want the part # A-90.
