Adjusting Volume On Smart Hitch Backup Camera & Sensor System

Question:

Terri questions 1-my monitor came loose from the windshield. What is the best glue or epoxy to reattach it? 2-I keep my volume turned down as it always beeps, even with nothing is behind. Ive tried adjusting the two sensors from all the way down to ask the way up in Little increments to no avail. I even tried removing the hitch from the receiver. Hopkins sent me a new part that contains the sensors, but it did the same. I dont have to have the sound as the picture its most important, but it seems like other folks are not experiencing this problem in great numbers. Thank you for your time and consideration.

To reattach the monitor to your windshield I recommend part # LT37438. This is typically used for rearview mirrors but should work well with the monitor. Make sure you clean the area well before applying the glue.

There are four volume settings on the Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera # HM50002. They are (Mute, Low,Medium, and High). You can adjust the volume by pressing the side button. I have attached a photo of the unit with the button highlighted you can check out.
