Adapter to Use a Power Drill to Raise and Lower Scissor Jacks on a Trailer

Question:

When raising and lowering scissor jacks for stabilization purpose only - you can purchase a bit for a hand drill 3/4 but the shaft on my jacks are round and do not connect to a hex bit. The 3/4 inch bit is too small and does not cover. Is there an adapter available?

There are a few different drill adapters for different jacks. The hex head # UF48-979005 sounds like what you describe so we know it won't work. The other type is what is called a T-Slot such as # UF48-979071. It has a shaft length of 2.5 inches, an inner hole diameter of 0.66 inches, and a 0.78 inch slot depth. I included a picture showing these measurements for you.

If the T-Slot one will not work then we will not have an adapter that will allow you to use a power drill with the scissor jacks.
