What Is Needed To Upgrade Brakes On Trailer With Tandem 7000 Lb Axles And Brakes On One Axle
Question:
I need to upgrade this 1995 Carson trailer I just bought. It has two #7000 axles with only brakes on one axle. The #20000 Titan Brake Actuator which doesnt look like it has worked in years. I thought to just add two more brake drum sets and replace the master cylinder. Price please on those parts to ad more brakes. Actuator is a weld on and maybe would be better to just replace it it looks just like your Code: T1521000. I also am wondering if it would be a better set up with disc brakes. Is this a much better way to go? I can give you more specs on the spindle size and will be doing all the work myself. Can you please shoot me a quote on new Actuator and disc brake up grade for both axles. Thank you

Disc brakes stop harder than drum brakes and require less maintenance. You will need to make sure the brakes all match if you are adding to the second axle.
Also you will need to make sure you have the correct actuator. If you have drum brakes on your trailer, you will need to replace the brakes and actuator to those designed for disc brakes.
I have attached a link to our product page for brakes that can be used for 7,000 lb axles. They are all 12 inch x 2 inch brakes. You can use the filters to decide what kind of brakes you want.
I also attached a link to our product page for the brake actuators we offer.
The prices for all of our items are shown on the product page.
