I called my contact at Yakima and they informed me that they currently do not make nor stock replacement parts for the Rhode Gear 4 Bike Hitch Shuttle anymore. However, I suggest trying the Replacement Rubber Straps for Yakima BedRoc and Older Big Horn Models part # Y8820103 as these are very similar to your current support straps and according to the Yakima representative, should work for you. I would also agree with this statement as they do look very similar though, but since they have not been specifically tested together, we cannot guarantee fitment.

The straps are 7-3/4" long with the inside diameter of each circle measuring 3/4" wide. If you have similar measurements for your current straps, then these may work for you.

I would like to purchase a Class III hitch for 2008 Toyota Highlander. My question: Does the hitch sold by eTrailer require any cutting or can simply install onto frame using existing holes?

I have two excellent options that will allow you to install a trailer hitch receiver in the factory bolt hole locations on your 2008 Toyota Highlander without cutting or drilling. For this, you have the choice from either the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13534 or the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75586. I recommend using the Curt trailer hitch receiver as this hitch will allow you to use a full size spare tire in the factory spare tire location, in comparison to the Draw-Tite hitch which will not. The only thing that you will need to do besides bolting the hitch in place, is temporarily remove the tow hooks. You will also need to use the Curt Trailer Hitch Support Strap part # 18050 for all non-towing applications. To secure the bike rack to your hitch receiver, I recommend using the Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock part # e98882 as this will be a great option for you to not only secure, but lock your bike rack in place. I have attached an installation video of both hitch receivers on a 2008 Toyota Highlander for you.

In order to install a trailer wiring harness on your 2008 Toyota Highlander, you can choose from a few options such as 4-flat or 7-way connector. In order to obtain a 4-flat connector on the rear of your vehicle, you will want to use the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118449 for models without the factory tow package and the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Wiring Harness part # HM11141825 for models with the factory tow package. In order to determine whether or not you have the factory tow package, you will need to look for a converter box underneath the driver's side dash panel. Either of these options are a direct plug and play without the need for cutting or splicing wires. If you are towing a trailer with brakes, you will need a 7-way connector such as the Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole part # 37185 which will give you both 4 and 7-way capabilities. I have attached a review video on each of these wiring harnesses for you in addition to an installation video on a 2012 Toyota Highlander.
