Parts Needed to Install a Prodigy P3 in a Class C RV on a Ford E-450 Chassis
Question:
I have a 2017 Ford 450 Class c motor home that I need to get a brake controller for. I am thinking about the Ford E series Tekonsha controller. I would like any comments that you might have.

If your Class C motorhome that's built on a Ford E-450 cutaway has a factory trailer connector at the rear then to install the Prodigy P3 Electric Brake Controller # 90195 you can use the adapter # 3034-P.
If the RV has a 7-way connector this is all you'll need. If the connector is a 4-way you'll also need # 37185 for the 7-way. You can mount it using the bracket # C57202.
If the RV does not already have a trailer connector at all you'll first need to add a 4-way like # C59496 and converting it to a 7-way using our # ETBC7 kit. This will give you the 7-way you need.
