Recommended Roof Rack And Kayak Carrier For 2013 Honda Pilot with Raised Rails

I have a 2013 Honda Pilot and would like to carry two kayaks on the roof. I currently only have the Honda railings on the roof and will also need crossbars. I have looked at the Yakima kayak holders on your site and like them. Can you recommend crossbars and kayak holders for my Pilot. There will be no other items on the roof. Thank You.

For the roof rack on your 2013 Honda Pilot, I recommend the Yakima CoreBar Crossbars - Steel - Black - 60" Long - Qty 2 # Y00422 along with the TimberLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars - Raised, Factory Side Rails - Qty 4 # Y33TR. This will give you a complete roof rack to add your kayak carriers to.

For your kayak carriers, I recommend the Yakima JayLow Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs - J-Style - Folding - Side Loading # Y04073 along with the Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores (QTY 2) # Y07202. You can use just one of these carriers for 2 kayaks, but I personally would use two with one on each side of the vehicle for even easier loading and stability. When hauling 2 kayaks you will want to make sure you do not exceed the manufacturer's stated roof weight capacity.
