I went out to our warehouse an pulled the Swagman Replacement Long Folding Pin, # P322, The pin has a diameter of almost 1/2 of an inch. The actual measurement that I got from my calipers was .47 of an inch.
If you are referencing he pin that secures the rack when in the storage or carrying bike position, then the Swagman pin # P322 will fit the hole but has not been tested on the XTC4 bike rack.
I recommend the Replacement Pin and Clip for the SwagmanXTC4 4-Bike Carrier, # SP487. This pin is the correct pin that is used in to secure the rack when folded up for storage or down when carrying bikes. The measurement of this pin is also almost 1/2 of an inch in diameter.

I just purchased a used XTC2 (S64670) (extended wheelbase) 2 bike rack for carrying my 69" wheelbase Easy Racers Tour Easy Recumbent bike. It fits (barely) with the front wheel turned around (wheelbase becomes 64" or so). Anyway, I am missing a pin to hold one of the poles for the two horizontal or the upright pole and your site suggests the P307 which has the tether on it so it is not so easy to lose. I think the SP487 for the XTC4 each or the P322 for the trailhead bike carrier could also work. The #P307 appears that it would work like the original except the original pin has a bend in it so it is easier to insert and take out of the tight fitting hole. Would the other two suggested pins SP487 and/or P322 fit as well as the P307. Could you check the fit of all three on the Gusset Plate P326 for me to see how tight they fit the drilled hole. I really want to get the P322 for the bolt down tether and the redundancy of the two locking pins instead of the P307 suggested replacement for my XTC2 carrier. I really do like the carrier so far and I used it to test fit the bike to the carrier before buying and to bring my bike home on it. Previous owner also used it for a Long Wheelbase Recumbent bike.
