Recommended Wiring For OEM 7-Way On 2011 Honda Pilot
Question:
A couple of years ago I installed a Curt wiring harness on my Pilot. After about a year the converter failed and I replaced it with a flat four system. I would like to replace the Curt tail light controller so I can once again use the factory 7 way/ flat four. I cannot find just the controller to buy just the whole kit or a flat four wiring harness.

For your 2011 Honda Pilot, we only have the complete kits available. To get your 7 way functions, I recommend the Tekonsha Honda Replacement OEM Tow Package Wiring (7-Way) w/ Circuit Protected ModuLite HD Module # 118253. This is a more reliable harness than the Curt brand and has a really good price point for the entire kit. To use a 4 way with this system, you can use the Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow 7-, 5- and 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector - Vehicle End - Ergonomic Design # HM48470 to replace your trailer connector at the bumper or you can use an adapter like the Pollak 7 Pole to 4 Way Connector Adapter # PK12716.
