Are 8k Dexter Trailer Hubs a Fit for Both Sides of the Trailer
Question:
If hub 008-285-08 is on the right side what would be the part number for a hub on the left side of the 8000pd dexter axle?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Trailer hubs are not directional like brake assemblies are. The number you mentioned is very similar to the # 8-285-11 which is a fit for both the right and left side of the trailer.
The electric brake drum assembly that fits the 8-285 hub and integrated drum would be the Dexter Electric Brake Assembly-Left Hand, part # 23-434, for the left side and Dexter Electric Brake Assembly-Right Hand, part # 23-435.
