Comparison of Dexter and etrailer 7 Inch Brake Assemblies for Trailers with 2,000 Pound Axles
Question:
What is the difference between # 23-47-48 and AKEBRK-2? As I look through their specs the only difference I see is the brand and price.

The Dexter # 23-47-48 and etrailer # AKEBRK-2 brake assemblies are just that. The same part made by two different companies. They're both 7 inch brake assemblies for 2,000 pound axles. Both the left and right hand brakes are included and labeled to make it easier to install.
The etrailer brand does include the mounting bolts where the Dexter does not. For mounting bolts use # 7-75. Neither of them include the Mounting Hardware # BRKH7.
