Installing Timbren Rear Suspension to Bracket on Part # TDR2500D

Question:

Ive got tdr2500d timbren ses rear bump stops. What is the torque specs for bolt holding timbren to its bracket? The bolt is getting hard to turn but the bumper stop still spins freely from bracket. Seems it should be snug to the bracket before mounting to truck frame. Am I right? Please advise.

I spoke with my contact at Timbren regarding the Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TDR2500D referenced in your question. The bolt that attaches the spring to the bracket should be be tightened to 33 foot pounds of torque.

When the bolt is tightened all the way, there should not be any movement or spinning on the spring. You will want to tighten it down until it is completely snug to the bracket, as you mentioned in your question.

I have attached the installation details for you to review.
