Draw-Tite Ball Mount # 3592 Recommendation for a 2007 Honda Accord
Question:
I was wondering if the Draw-Tite #@ 24787 fits my 2007 Honda Accord. Also will a Class II 1-1/4cargo carrier shank fit into a 1-1/4 Class I receiver hitch. I understand that the difference between Class I and Class II is the amount of weight each one can hold or tow but I just want to make sure that the receiver hitch and shank fit together if they are both 1-1/4 regardless of Class before I purchase them. I also realize that I will only be able to load the carrier up to the lowest maximum specified tongue weight of either the car or the hitch.

Yes, the Draw-Tite Hitch, part # 24787, fit your 2007 Honda Accord.
A Class II drawbar will not fit into a Class I hitch, the reason for this is because Class I hitches have a notch on them that only Class I accessories are capable of accommodating. The reason for this is to prevent the Class I hitch from being overloaded by Class II hitches. I attached an FAQ article on ball mounts below for you to check out also.
With this hitch you would want to get a Draw-Tite Ball Mount, part # 3592. On Class I hitches it is important to use the recommended ball mount for that hitch.
