Can Trailer Battery Be Charged from Trailer 7-Way Connector
Question:
The hookup on my F-150 Raptor does not charge my camper battery. The brake lights work just fine, though. How can I hook this up so that it will charge my campers battery?

If you have a 7-way trailer connector the pin in the 1:00 position carries the 12 volt accessory circuit which is what normally charges a trailer battery. It would need to be ran to the positive post of your battery though. You should note that this will only really provide you with a maintenance charge for the battery and won't keep a large battery charged if depleted.
I attached a diagram that shows how 7-ways normally run to brake controllers and batteries.
If you need a charger for charging a dead battery you instead would need the part # CTEK56353 which would attach to a wall outlet.
