Trailer Hitch Options For 2015 Buick Encore To Replace Damaged Trailer Hitch

is there a two inch receiver, square tube, that will work on the Buick Encore 2015? The round tube one I ordered bent, and left me dragging and shooting sparks up onto other cars on the highway?

I am sorry to hear about the trailer hitch you had on your 2015 Encore. I am curious though. Can you tell me what you had on the hitch at the time?

If the hitch was installed properly and you were not carrying something that exceeded the weight capacity, the hitch should not have bent like that and certainly should not have hit the ground.

The Curt hitch # C11527 is the only hitch that we carry for your Encore at this time.

The Curt hitch # C11527 requires that all non-trailer loads - bike racks, cargo carriers and so forth - should be supported with stabilizing straps like part # 18050. Failure to properly support these loads will void your hitch warranty from Curt. The Curt hitch has a 250-lb tongue weight capacity.

You will want to check your owner's manual and make sure you do not exceed the tongue weight capacity of your vehicle.
