Best Available Transmission Cooler For A 2012 GMC Yukon
Question:
Hello, I have a 2012 Yukon which already has a pretty large trans cooler on it but the 4500lb. Trailer I am pulling is getting temps up in 140 for short periods while climbing. Can I add a second cooler to assist the factory one? If so which cooler should I use?

It is certainly possible for you to add an additional transmission cooler to your factory OEM cooler.
In most cases, the best cooler for your application will prove to be the largest available that will fit in the designated space. Fortunately, you have a good amount of room to mount an even larger cooler in front of the radiator behind the grill.
The most efficient cooler for you vehicle would be the Derale Transmission Coolers part # D13504. You will also need the Yukon Hose adapter part # D13035 to install this cooler.
