Medium Length Cushioned Pin Box to Replace Leland 7910 5th Wheel Pin Box
Question:
I have a Leland 7920 pin box and it is too long. The 7910 is the shorter version, where can I find one? Or what is a suitable replacement? I have a Pullrite slider hitch so Ill need something compatible with a capture plate. Thanks.

We do offer a cushioned pin box from Reese that is a direct replacement for the Leland 7920. We have a pivoting Sidewinder model # ST400-5AS16K that is a replacement for the Leland 7910, but this is not needed with a slider hitch. These pin boxes share the same ride-cushioning air spring to smooth your ride. You can lock the Sidewinder Turret to allow use of your sliding hitch. Alternatively you can use the Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel King Pin - Leland 7920 - 21,000 lbs # UF35-946208.
Most trailer makers do not object to using a shorter pin box on their trailers but using a longer one than the OEM model may void the frame warranty. I am not sure why you need a shorter pin box but please note the Leland 7910 is considered a medium length, while the 7920 is considered a long pin box.
