Installation Kit Recommendation for a Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch and 1993 Ford F-250
Question:
hello again! thanks again for all the previous help. I got a used 5th wheel hitch #30047, and i think universal rails?? but couldnt find a # on rails. The rear rail only had bolts on one side is this right? It seems to me these rails not long enough to hit frame?? my 93 ford long bed has L brackets from different setup on it was going to try to make them work, can i put them on other side of the frame? is there a certin hardware kit i should get?

It does not sound like you have all of the correct hardware because there should be bolts on both sides of both rails. I am not sure how comfortable I would be with a used installation kit so I would go ahead and pop for a new one.
Another reason to replace the install kit is if you are unsure of the brand of rails and they are not the same as the underbed brackets that attach to the frame, we do not recommend using them together. Plus you will get all new parts, installation instructions, and peace of mind knowing everything is correct.
I recommend the Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit, # RP30035. This kit comes with rails, brackets, and all the hardware required for installation. You can see in the photo and in the linked installation instructions all of the hardware required for installation.
