Recommended Kenda Karrier S-Trail Tires To Replace 5.30x12 Tires

Question:

your 5.30x12 tires are rated for max pressure of 80 lbs. Do you know what the load is at 60 lbs. and how safe it is to run at that pressure. Thanks

Trailer tires are designed to run at max psi capacity all the time. Running a tire under or over that psi can cause uneven tread wear and greatly increase the possibility of a blow out. I recommend running tires like the Kenda K353 Bias Trailer Tire - 5.30-12 - Load Range C # AM10066 at the specified 80 psi.

If you are looking for a lower psi rated tire, I recommend the Kenda K353 Bias Trailer Tire - 5.30-12 - Load Range B # AM10064 which is rated for 840 lbs at max psi of 55.

For a similar tire that will fit the same size wheel, I recommend the Kenda Karrier S-Trail ST145/R12 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range D # AM10130. This is rated for 1,220 lbs at 65 psi.
