For your 2013 Hyundai Sonata, I recommend the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver - Class I # 24965. With this hitch, you will want the Sportframe Drawbar 2-1/8" Rise or 2-3/4" Drop 2000 lb Kit # 3593. This ball mount can use a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball like # 19256 or a 2 inch hitch ball like # 19258 to match your trailer coupler. For your trailer wiring, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118557. This has quick connects that connect to your factory wiring behind the tail lights and draws power directly from the battery to protect your system from overdraw.
You won't have any issues using a mesh trailer like you mentioned to haul your 500 lb motorcycle from what I can find your car has a 1,000 lb towing capacity, but I recommend double checking your owners manual. I recommend using the Tow-Rax Removable Wheel Chock # TWSPWM to secure your bike to the trailer and then use Erickson Motorcycle and ATV Tie-Downs w Soft Ties and TCS Buckles - 1"x6' - 400 lbs - Qty 2 # EM05729 along with the 1" x 18" Tie-Down Motorcycle Assist Straps (Qty 2) # 06303. I've used a very similar system for transporting my bike and it works great.
