All of the Class III hitches that we have available for the 2004 Honda Pilot install in much the same way and have the same towing capacity. None of the hitches require permanent removal of the spare tire, full size or space saver. This leaves the look of the hitch and cost as the only real difference between the available options. The Draw-Tite model you selected, # 75599, is a good choice.
Some Items you may want to consider if towing with your Pilot are a transmission cooler and power steering cooler. These are required for max. towing capacity with your vehicle. (See vehicle owners manual for details).
I would recommend the Derale Combination Transmission/Power Steering Cooler Core, item # D13322. Along with this cooler you will need the Derale Single-Hose Transmission Cooler Installation Kit, item # D12006, and extra hose, item # D13003, and hose clamps, item # D13008 for the power steering cooler install. You will also need fittings to go from the power steering return hose to the power steering cooler hose inlet and outlet hoses, these parts need to be determined before installation and can be purchased at a local hardware store.
