The flashing C on your Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 sounds like there is corrosion on the brake output circuit of your vehicle 7-way. When the controller detects a load on the circuit (typically from the trailer brake magnets) it will say that it is connected to a trailer even if it is not. Corrosion can cause a slight short on the circuit which then can trick the controller into thinking there is a trailer connected. The slight short causes a small draw on the circuit that the brake controller reads as a connected trailer.
I would recommend cleaning the pins of your trailer 7-way with some fine grit sandpaper and that particular problem should go away. I have attached a help article on brake controller troubleshooting for you to check out for additional help.
The issue with your battery sounds like a battery issue and is most likely not connected to the brake controller. Your battery may need to be more fully charged or replaced.
