Installing a Brake Controlle on a 2012 Ford Van W/O Tow Package

Question:

If I purchase part # 3034-p doesnt that mean I only have to splice into the blue wire and the white wire AFTER it comes out of the brake controller? Let me know. Jared P answered the first part of my question.

If your van was pre-wired for towing and has the OEM style plug under the dash, then the # 3034-P plug will allow you to run power to the brake controller.

However, since you stated that your Ford Van was not pre-wired for the tow package, then the # 3034-P harness will not work for you. The # 5506 Wiring Kit for Brake Controller is the best option to hook up the 12-volt power circuit to power the brake controller.
