Galvanized Wheel/Tires 16 Inches Tall For Trailer Build With 4 Lug Bolt Pattern

Question:

Hello, I need wheels and tires for a trailer that Im building a tear style camper on. I need four lug wheels, galvanized, and tires that will carry at least 1,000 lbs each prefer more they will be run on the highway for hours back and forth on camping trips. Im also hoping to have the tires less than 16inch high from the ground to the top of the tire. I need all the clearance I can get above the trailer frame so I can build the camper to fit in my garage and sill be able to standinch up in the camper. Would really appreciate some product suggestions. Thanks!

The closest option I have to meet your criteria is the Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" Galvanized Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range C # AM30050. This wheel is 16.1 inches in diameter and has a maximum load of 745 lbs.

Another option is Kenda 5.70-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" Galvanized Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range C # AM30130. This tire is 910 lbs capacity and is 18 inches in diameter.

To get the load range you desire you'd need to use a 10 inch wheel like the Kenda 205/65-10 Bias Trailer Tire with 10" Galvanized Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range C # AM3H380. This will give you an 1100 lb capacity with an outer diameter of 20.5 inches.
