Does Roadmaster Sway Bar 1209-131for Mercedes Sprinter Require Removing Factory Sway Bar

I have a 2015 Pleasure Way FL rv, built on the Mercedes Benz sprinter. I want to use the Roadmaster sway bar 1209-131 as advised by responses from your team. However, in contacting Mercedes Benz they informed me that the existing sway bar would have to be removed in order to have it replaced with the new one. Mike L. of your team in a response on your site wrote that the new sway bar would be ADDED and the existing sway bar would not be removed. I have conflicting opinions and ask that you further clarify why the old sway bar would not have to be removed. Thank you....

If what Mercedes told you was correct then the install instructions for the # RM-1209-131 would show the removal of the factory sway bar.

If you check out the install instructions link I attached to this page you can see that there isn't a step that includes removing the factory bar. Most likely who you spoke with was confused on how the Roadmaster bar would install.
