Brake Controller Install Recommendation for 2008 Chevy Four Winds RV Class C Chassis

Hello, I just purchased a prodigy 2 break controller and the 7 way plug today. Im trying to locate the wires that the Break Controller fit into for my 2008 Four winds Chateau Class C with a chevy vortex engine. I have looked everywhere. Can you assist where the plug might be hiding on my RV. Thanks

You are going to need to use an # 5506 kit on your 2008 Chevy RV to install a 7-way and brake controller. If you do not have a 4-way you would need to install one before as well. You would need to hardwire one in with the # C59496.
You will need to test the wires from the brake pedal switch of your vehicle to find a circuit that has voltage when the brakes are applied and none when not applied. This will be the circuit you will run the red wire of the P2 # 90885 to.
Finally you will need to run a length of 10 gauge wire (part # 10-1-1) from the brake output circuit of the controller to the brake output circuit of the 7-way (blue wire). The # 10-1-1 is sold by the foot so you will need to order a quantity of the amount of feet you will need.
