Benefits of Using Dual-Motor Electric Trailer Stabilizer
Question:
How difficult is it to change from a 1 motor rear electronic jack/stabilizer system to one with 2 motors? There is 1 switch currently.

Expert Reply:
Most of the frame-mount motorized RV stabilizers we offer are single-motor types that raise the stabilizer as a single total unit. Dual motor types like the Power Twin II # UF39-941707 offer the advantages of more motor power to do the job, generally faster operation and also that each motor - and each half of the stabilizer - can be operated independently for finer control of leveling. This is especially valuable when your trailer is on less than perfectly level ground (in other words, most of the time).
These units are pretty much bolt-on installations since many use similar mounting methods. The dual motor Ultra-Fab units include dual power switches and wiring.
