Recommended Brake Controller For 2013 F350 With OEM Brake Controller & Titan BrakeRite EOH Actuator

2013 F350 factory brake controler and Brakerite electric over hydrolic brakes. Do I need an adapter for my truck to activate the pump?

The factory integrated brake controller on your 2013 Ford F-350 will not work properly with an electric over hydraulic brake actuator like your BrakeRite # T4813102.
For a brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This brake controller is a proportional system that will allow you to apply the brakes on your trailer with the same intensity and at the same time as you hit the brake pedal in your F-350. It has an easy to read and understand LCD screen that takes code deciphering out of the equation. There are 3 levels of boost and it is customizable to your driving preferences.
This brake controller connects to your factory wiring using the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers - Ford # 3034-P. This adapter plugs into the connector behind your vehicle's dashboard. To reach the connector, first locate the notch in the access panel in the center of the dash, near the passenger side. Using a trim panel puller, carefully pry the panel out and undo the locking tabs to remove the panel. You will find the mating connector behind this portion of your dashboard.
This installation will make your system work with the EOH actuator, however, you will need to take your vehicle to a dealer to have a fault code cleared. The only way to remove this code, is to have the TBC turned off by your local Ford dealer. Using the IDS, the Ford Technician should access the Programmable Parameters and then select the Personality/Dynamics. Select the TBC and turn it off. The fault code will now be removed. You can at a later date turn this back on in the event your want to go back to the factory integrated controller.
