Correct 5th Airborne Wedge # SWW-03 for Reese Hitch # 30047

I am getting a Reese Revolution Pin on my Rockwood 5th wheel. Which wedge do I need for the Reese 16K hitch - Reese part# 30047? Should I use the universal wedge or is there a custom wedge for this hitch? Thanks.

For your Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, part # RP30047, I would recommend you use a 5th Airborne Custom Wedge for Select Series Fifth Wheels, part # SWW-03. This part is designed to work with your hitch and will also work with your Reese Revolution Pin Box.

You will have to go with a sliding hitch to allow the trailer to make tight turns. For a trailer 8 feet wide the only bed length that's going to allow 90 degree turns without a slider is a stationary hitch. That being said you have two options.…

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
