We offer four different axle lift kits for use with Dexter Torflex axles.
Kit # K71-723-01 is for a single 2K-rated # 9 Torflex Axle. It provides 2-5/8-inches of lift.
Kit # K71-707-02 is for tandem 2.3K-to-4K-rated # 10 axles and has the same lift.
Kit # K71-724-02 is for tandem 4.1K-to-6K-rated # 11 axles. It provides 2-7/8-inches of lift.
Kit # K71-725-02 is for tandem 5.5K-to-7K-rated # 12 axles. This provides 3-1/8-inches of frame lift.
A Dexter P12 axle with serial number 06745304 is rated for 2497-lbs according to my contact at Dexter.
After some research my Dexter contact advised that torsion lift kits cannot be used on your axle due to it having vertical side-mount hangers, but another possible resolution would be to order a new axle with a different start angle. If you needed to raise the trailer a little over 2.00-inches, the new axle could be ordered with a 45-degree down trail. That way the new axle would mount directly and no alterations would be required.
