need a class 2 or 3 for my honda accord 2006 sedan

For a 2006 Honda Accord Sedan, there are only Class I trailer hitches available. I recommend the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # 24787 for your vehicle. This is a sturdy, square tube design that has a black powder coat over an e-coat base for excellent rust protection. This hitch does not require a stabilization strap like the Curt models for this vehicle for non-trailer loads like a bike rack or cargo carrier.
If you will be doing light towing with this hitch, I recommend the Sportframe Drawbar 2-1/8" Rise or 2-3/4" Drop 2000 lb Kit # 3592. This will require a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball like # 19256 or a 2 inch ball like # 19258.
For trailer wiring or a lighted accessory, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118302. This will connect to your factory wiring with quick connects. The connector plugs are located inside your trunk on the driver's side. You will need to remove the paneling and trunk liner to access the harness.
