Availability of Weight Distribution/Sway Control for 14 Foot V-Nose Trailer

I have a 14foot V nose trailer and I am wanting to put a stabilizer bar on. I only have 28inch from the center of the ball to the furthest point on the trailer arms. Is there a system I can use for this?

For trailers like your V-nose trailer without much room on the frame for traditional clamp around style brackets, I recommend using the Reese Chain Hangers # RP58305 with a weight distribution system. These bolt-on chain hangers will provide an attachment point for the weight distribution spring bars without interfering with any trailer-frame-mounted items. They are designed to bolt onto the exterior/side of the trailer frame instead of the top, and will allow for most chain hanger style weight distribution systems to be compatible with your 14 foot trailer.
Then when choosing a weight distribution system, the most important factor to consider is the total tongue weight of your setup. This will include the loaded tongue weight of your trailer along with any added weight coming from behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle. You will want this number to fall somewhere in the middle of the weight distribution system's weight capacity range that you choose. You can use a tongue weight scale like the etrailer # e99044 for simple and accurate readings.

If you are just looking for a sway bar, I recommend the Reese Friction Sway Control Kit # 83660. You will install this to either side of your trailer tongue and it will help to reduce trailer sway caused by winds, curving roads or sudden maneuvers. Since your trailer is smaller than 26 feet, you will only need one of these bars. I have attached a video demonstration of this product for you to check out.
