Bike Rack to Carry a Bike on the Back of a 2014 Honda CR-V that is Being Towed by an RV

Question:

Looking for a swing away, hitch mounted platform bike rack with a 2 inch hitch for my 14 CR-V. I looked through your site and I dont see exactly what I want. Dont need a professional set up, something to take one bike along when I go in the motorhome.

We do not have any swinging platform bike racks.

We do have platform racks that tilt away from the vehicle. I suggest the Swagman Chinook # S64683 for your 2014 Honda CR-V. As shown in the linked video the rack can be tilted down without unloading the bike.

If you prefer a swinging rack we have some hanging racks that swing away from the vehicle. This gives you complete access to the back of your CR-V. The SportRack Ridge Swing # SR2415 can carry up to 4 bikes but all of the swinging racks will hold more than you need.

With the Ridge Swing you may need an adapter bar if you have a women's or children's bike. The Kuat Ubar # UB01 will help create the horizontal cross tube if your bike doesn't have it. If your bike has the cross tube like a typical men's bike the adapter bar isn't necessary.
