Replacement Leaf Springs and Shocks for 2004 Jayco Qwest Baja

Question:

2004 JAYCO Qwest Baja 1UJAJ01GX415Z0107 Leaf springs and shocks, but the part no I cannot read due to rust and road wear.... Any help would be appreciated, I have been told that the Monroe 555001 will fit but I believe original was AP/Lippert Thank you and have a good Easter weekend

When looking to replace the leaf springs on your trailer, you will first need to find the axle capacity of the trailer. This information should be located with a plate on the axle that lists both the VIN number and its capacity. The leaf springs you choose should have a combined weight rating that comes as close as possible to the exact capacity of the axle.

Next, you will need to measure the distance from eye to eye of your existing leaf springs, and then choose a leaf spring that is just slightly shorter, around 1/2 to 3/4 inches, to compensate for the sag and wear of the existing springs. For example, the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # e54SR has a spring capacity of 1,750 pounds and has a length from center eye to center eye of 25-1/8 inches.
