Height Above Bed for Hitch Ball on Gooseneck Hitch Plates 16085, 16055 & RP58079

Question:

Im looking for some measurements on a few different hitches so I know what one will work for me. I need to know what the height is from the floor of the bed to the top of the ball with the hitch installed in the above bed rails for the Curt spyder #16085 Curt 25k gooseneck plate #16055 Reese above bed gooseneck #rp58079

I went to our warehouse to measure the three hitches for you.

On the Curt Spyder Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # 16085 the top of the hitch ball will be 7-1/2-inches above the top of your base rails. Add the height of your rails to this dimension to get the ball height above the bed surface.

On both the Curt Gooseneck Plate # 16055 and on the Reese # RP58079 the top of the ball will be 6-1/2-inches above the top of the base rails. Again, add the height of the rails to this dimension to get your height above the bed.
