Will the Trailer Valet Help Maneuver a Small Trailer Around on a Gravel Parking Area

Question:

I have a 2004 Casita Travel Trailer that weighs about 2000lb. My parking area is tight so was considering this unit to maneuver it into place, but it is a gravel parking area and the gravel is not well packed. I was wondering if I could use some plywood boards over the gravel in the areas where the dolly will traverse....I dont need to move the trailer very far and a couple of 2x8 pieces would be easy to move around. Thoughts on whether this is likely to be feasible.
