Trailer Signal Lights Not Working with 2014 Buick Enclage

Question:

I recently ordered this item from Etrailer for install on a Buick Enclave. 118270 Install went pretty smooth and all was working, but in checking some old lights on a trailer, I believe I accidently shorted the turn signal leads. Using a test meter, the tail light lead still lights but neither of the turn signals I know it is likely the fuses were blown, but could that also affect the relay?

Helpful Expert Reply:

The relays should not be affected on the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118270 if the turn signal fuses were blown in your 2014 Buick Enclave. If the fuses are damaged, simply replacing them should solve the issue. It looks like the fuse for the left turn is in position F21 and the right turn fuse is in position F17. You can check to see if they are damaged and in need of replacement.

These should be available at any local auto parts store.

Installed the trailer wiring harness T connect on my 2017 Buick Enclave but I am unable to get the turn- signals to work when testing at the vehicle side of the 4-pin connector. They also dont work when connected to a trailer. All other other lights work.

The only thing I can think of that might cause this (other than a bad harness) is that the main harness plug or one of the included relays/fuses aren't fully seated into position . Make sure they are all securely connected and that there isn't a bent pin on the main plug that's not making full contact. If this doesn't help please let me know.
