Will Higher Load Range Trailer Tires Require Higher-Pressure Valve Stems

Hello Tech support department. My trailer tires with range C, could I upgrade to range E? And do I need to change bigger valve stem for higher psi Thanks.

If your current valve stems do not have the pressure capacity required by new special trailer tires then you will also need to replace those when you upgrade from a LR-C tire to a LR-E tire.

Increasing a tire's load range rating is one way to potentially help avoid tire failures, but the keys to keeping special trailer tires in good shape are the basics: never operate them at an incorrect psi pressure rating; never operate them at a higher speed than their rating; and never overload them with more weight than they are intended to handle.
